NOKIA C5: A 3G CHEAP PHONE (S60V3) FROM NOKIA

We got the hands on the new Nokia C5 and we write our first impression on it, here you are.
* The 2.2 inches TFT screen (at 240 x 320 pixels) quite small screen but it is bright.
* At just 112 x 46 x 12.3 mm and 89.3 g, fit in hands nicely small and light.
* Fast and stable phone with 128 MB RAM with 600Mhz cpu and S60v3 FP2
* Sports 3G connectivity, Bluetooth and Micro USB and secondary camera for Video Calls.
* can be charged through both standard Nokia pin and micro USB port.
* Built-in A-GPS with Ovi Maps and free navigation.
* Signal is great. No reception issues. No matter which way we held it.
* Has the new ‘Contacts Bar’ home screen. Even the contacts app has been slightly modified.
* Nokia Messaging for Email pre-installed.
* 3.5mm Audio Jack.
* Nice alphanumeric keyboard soft yet firm.
The battery is able to support one and a half day normal usage. On morning full recharged with my screen on full brightness, after 2 hours of Music over Headphones, 30 minutes of calling, about one hour of GPRS internet surfing (which was constantly on for Nokia Messaging) and about 20 minutes of GPS, 10 minutes of Camera use, and another 20 minutes of installing applications and configuring the device the battery has only drop one bar when the days is over.
The sad side is that C5 has only 50 MB of internal phone storage, but 2GB microSD included. It may not matter but there is not accelerometer. The built quality is great, no squeaks or creaks however it is a bit plasticky. More is there is not TV-out feature.
* Too bad but this device has no Wi-Fi.
* 3.2 Megapixel Standard Nokia lens with no Autofocus, this make photo snapping result in bad quality compare to recent phone and it only able to record 640 x 480 15fps video.
* No notification light. Something I’m used to having on my devices.
* Power Key is the same as the Red End-Call key.
* Back panel seems to scratch very easily.
That about it, Nokia C5 is one of the alternatives for people who didn’t enjoy touchscreen. Overall the
phone is great and fun as we expected drive us away from the nowadays-touchscreen madness.
